{ Merry Christmas }

I want to wish you all a wonderful Holiday!

I will be taking some much needed time off so that I can spend some uninterrupted time with my family! I will still be checking emails and phone messages...new client inquiries will be answered after the new year.

Enjoy and I look forward to seeing all of you in 2010!!

{ Tree Hunting }

In case you are not in the Holiday Spirit yet, I wanted to post these images of a Tree Hunting Session. Little B was so cute and fun! The cold did not bother him in the least, as him and mom and dad searched for the perfect tree.

These images are a great example of a candid lifestyle photo session. Each image is great in its own way, but when displayed together on the wall or shelf tell a story.

I am currently scheduling in to February 2010, so give me a call to book your session!

{ Fun at the Capital! }

This family was a blast to work with! They were willing to just let loose and have fun, and it shows in their pictures. I met them at the Capital, they all donned their winter coats, hats, and mittens, and I must say they all looked so darn cute. We played around, I had them jumping, running, throwing snow at each other...although there was not too much snow to be found a few weeks ago :)

Enjoy these fun winter images, and later I will post images from a session at the Christmas Tree Farm!

{ Happy Birthday Miss "I" }

The first year of life flies by and before you know it your little baby is walking, talking, and not such a baby anymore. Little "I" celebrated her first birthday in the beginning of December. I have photographed her since she was in mommy's tummy, and I had so much fun watching her grow up. She was always happy and playful!

After her newborn photo session her parents were hooked, and they signed up for the "Year in the Life" Collection. This collection consists of 4 sessions within a year long period of time, and they chose to do 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. Some families with older kids use this collection to have pictures done every season! More information on this collection and others is on the website.

Back to beautiful "I", mom and dad bought a mini cake and I took some pictures while "I" touched it, played with it , and finally ate it :) Here is one of my favorite cake images, and I also threw in a story board of all her sessions...its fun to see how much they change in the first year!

If you have a newborn, give me a call to schedule your 3 month or 6 month session!

{ Model in the Making?... }

When I arrived at Baby C's house he was sleeping...and I hate waking a sleeping baby. So while I set up and mom and dad finished getting ready we let him sleep. Finally, mom decided to get him up. He woke up in the best mood! Within the first 5 minutes I had already taken over 100 images capturing all his different expressions and personalities :)

I can't wait to see him again on his 1st birthday!

{ Awesome Girls, Awesome Hats! }

Can I just say that the hat that this girl is wearing, is just about the cutest I have seen! I am addicted to hats, among other things for my little girl (shoes, bows, dresses, etc), so when I saw this hats, I fell in love...and it didn't hurt that the little girls wearing the hats were just as awesome and adorable.

Wow! A family of 4 little girls! They were all so photogenic, and the session went along perfectly with little to no crying. Enjoy!

{ You're Invited! }

Many don't know that before I fell in love with photography, I was in love with singing. I still am in love with singing, but I just don't have the time to sing anymore (other than in the shower or the car), and songs other than 'Wheels on the Bus' and 'ABC's'

So here is my invitation to you all! I would love to have you all at my Christmas Concert. It's great music, sure to get you in the Holiday Spirit!

If you have any questions, please let me know...Hope to see you all there!!

{ The 3 Brothers }

These 3 brothers and mom & dad, met me at the Arboretum for some fun! As you can imagine a family of 5 is a very energetic family. We ran, we jumped, we played in the leaves...but the kids had the most fun climbing trees. Although tree climbing makes for some great images, I was able to get them to pile on each other for this great shot as well!

{ Little Miss Princess }

Little Miss Princess was so smiley, right up until I took out the camera. But in the end mom, grandma and I were able to keep her happy enough to get these cute shots of her playing with her pearls and her adorable tutu. She also slept for a little bit too, and I was able to get some peaceful sleepy images as well.

By the way...the awesome hat she is wearing...more to come on this and where you can get one!

{ 2 Little Cuties at the Park }

A little known park, behind the zoo was the perfect backdrop for these 2 little cuties and their mom & dad! Brother and Sister could not have been more different...Sister loved being in front of the camera, but was very serious. Brother would not stop smiling! Both had a lot of fun playing in the leaves, swinging, and being together on the one of the last warm days of the Fall.

{ My 'Unofficial' Daughters }

I had so much fun at this photo session. I have watched these little girls grow up, and my son probably really thinks they are his sisters ;) For the past 3 years they have been joining my family for a few hours after school, eating snack, doing homework, etc.

I love having them over, as it is an extra set of hands for me. They play with my kids while I get dinner started, and the imaginative play they have taught them is priceless!

Anyway, back to the photo session, they are an awesome family, and they like to have fun, and I am so glad that I was able to capture their family is such a loving way.
