{ Happy Birthday Miss 'M' }

Little Miss 'M' turned ONE this spring, and with her cute little dresses, pink balloon, and birthday cake, we had a lot of fun. Although not many parents want pictures of their babies with cake all over their face, they do turn out really cute, and capture the moment perfectly. Of course we took some nice images first, and then we stripped her down to her "Birthday Bib," gave her some cake, and let her go at it!

Schedule your child's first birthday session at least 4-6 weeks in advance in the winter months, and 8-12 weeks in advance during the busy season of June - November. To schedule give me a call or shoot me an email anytime :)

{ Awaiting & Arrival }

You may recognize this belly from the blog header, but I just love this image and I had to post a larger size, and give it the full credit it deserved! Big Sis 'A' was a little shy that day, but she didn't mind giving mommy and belly a hug, and the cute little feet hangin by the belly are the cutest thing ever!




About a month later I was at their home meeting little baby brother 'M', with his cute little hat, he was the perfect model, and I love the way this image turned out with him lying in Dads hands. They really are miracles!

{ Pettiskirt Princess Portrait Event! }

It was such a huge success last year, and so much fun, that I could not wait to have one again this year!

**Pettiskirt Princess Portrait Event 2010**

When: Saturday, August 14th, 10:45am-5:00pm

Where: Pope Farm Park, Old Sauk Rd., Middleton, WI

What: A mini session in which your little princess gets to dress up and have fun, imaginative, play while I take some great artistic images. I provide beautiful pettiskirts for the girls to wear, handpainted colorful parasols, a little tea set, and fairy wings.

Cost: $60...includes a 15-20 minute mini session, 10 edited images, and private online viewing and purchasing gallery. Prints and products are purchased a la carte, no prints are included in the cost.

{ Happy B-Day Jameson...and America! }

Yes, my son Jameson turned 4 on the 4th of July! What a fun holiday weekend it was! For about the last year, Jameson has been asking to have a pool party for his birthday, and since it happened to be his golden birthday this year, we decided to go for it!

We rented out Glacier Crossing Pool in Madison, and invited all of Jameson's friends and family. We could not have asked for a more perfect day...not a cloud in the sky, warm temperatures, a pool, and lots of cake :)

Then of course we had our neighborhood bike parade, fireworks, and we took Jameson to see Toy Story 3. I am pretty sure that he was wiped by Sunday night, apparent from his falling asleep mid-sentence on the car ride home at 6:00pm.

Happy Birthday Buddy, and Happy 4th of July to everyone else!

Now, to start planning his sisters 2nd birthday for October... :)
