{ New Holiday Card Designs }

I am so excited to announce some NEW HOLIDAY CARD DESIGNS!
Christmas is my favorite time of year, and the recent cold weather, has really put me in the mood...therefore, I have been obsessed with designing holiday cards.

The original designs were very traditional, so I decided that I need to create some mod, trendy holiday cards as well. Hopefully now, there is something for everyone! Enjoy!!!

{ Baby "I" is 9 Months }

She just keeps getting bigger and bigger...what more can I say...

Baby "I" always has a smile for me, and her whole family is extremely photogenic! I see them all every 3 months, and pretty soon I will be taking her 1 year pictures!! Oh my, where does the time go?

For "I"'s 9 month session we visited the Apple Orchard/Pumpkin Patch, always a great place in the Fall. It was another beautiful day, and "I" had a lot of fun!

{ The "E" Family }

This family was so much fun to work with, and you can tell by their pictures, and the grass stains on all of thier knees that they had a lot of fun too!

Family sessions are about capturing the relationship between the family members. Personally, I am not a huge fan of portraits where everyone is looking at the camera, sitting very stiff, with fake smiles on their faces. I love to capture the movement of the family, the interaction, and of course...the love.

The "E" Family picked a beautiful spot for their session, a park I had never even heard of. The weather was great and the family was open to trying anything...another thing I LOVE!! :)

See for yourself... the more fun you have, the more relaxed you are, and the more natural and great your images turn out! The "E" Family is certainly proof of that!!

{ All-Star Portrait Event }

This posting in LONG over due!!! The All-Star Portrait Event was held back in September, and the images I was able to capture were so cute that I had to post them and show off all these cute little athletes :)

The idea was easy...all the boys had to do was come and play sports and run around. It took some of them a little time to warm up, but once they did they all had so much energy, I was exhausted by the end of the day.

I will certainly be doing this Portrait Event again in 2010!

{ Limited Holiday Availability Left }

As you can imagine this time of year is extremely busy!! September through December are a blur...and January is time to catch up :)

If you have not yet scheduled your Holiday Session, do not wait, call today!!

Currently I only have a few days/times left in November and December.

Crocodile Smiles Photography will also be taking a Holiday Break from December 19th - January 8th to update the website and blog, update galleries, wrap up all the business stuff, and plan many fun and exciting events for 2010. I don't want to give too much away...but I am planning a great event for the end of January/beginning of February, I am working with another local mom to design some new custom products, and I will also be having the wonderful portriat events that were such a big hit this year (Pettiskirt Princess, Mother's Day, etc.)

If you have any ideas that you would like to pass along, I love hearing from everyone!

{ Baby "J" }

Meet Baby "J", he was a lot of fun to work with...one minute he was happy, cooing, smiling, and the next he was crying. Thats a 3 month old for ya :)

He preferred the blankie over being in just his diaper, but I love the way that babies curl up in blankets, and try to eat them. Did I mention I love babies...and since my little one is now considered a toddler I need to still get my baby fix!

{ Happy Birthday, My Little Olive! }

Today is my little girl's 1st Birthday!! I cannot believe it has been a year already!!! We had her birthday party a few weeks ago, and we will probably celebrate again today, as Big Brother likes to sing 'Happy Birthday' and blow out candles :)

I attempted to make a "cupcake" cake, which took me a long time, and I will probably never do again...and I would like to give a special thanks to my neighbor who provided us with great pumpkins for all the kids to use as favors!

{ More Fun In Middleton! }

This little guy and his family were the winners of a FREE photo session! Way back in July (seems like forever ago, but same weather) I teamed up with The Purple Goose in Verona to give a way a photo session at their annual Sale.

Mom was so excited to win! We set up a session for a perfect day in September. There were so many great images from this session it was hard for me to choose which ones to showcase. I can't wait to see this family again soon!

{ Fun in Middleton! }

Lakeview Park in Middleton is one of my favorite locations! Maybe its the pond, the Gazeebo, the walking trail and bridge, the bences, the park...there are so many great spots for candid and fun portraits.

Recently, I had the opportunity of taking portraits of my son's hairstylists family. We first found Sonja at Next Generation, and my son loved her and loved getting his haircut because of her! Now she has her own place on the far west side of Madison. She has toys for the kids as well as a DVD player to keep them entertained while she cuts their hair. Did I also mention that she does an awesome job!!

So finally I got to meet her family (her 2 kiddos are the same age as mine), and they were a blast to work with!

Feel free to contact Sonja to set up a hair appointment:

{ Twins, Twins, and more Twins! }

Recently, I have been lucky enough to photograph lots of twins! Double the fun, double the laughs, double the smiles, and sometimes double the challenges.

First I got to meet these beautiful little girls, who just loved being next to each other...

Then I got to meet Little "M" and Little "Z", both were a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up, and we were like old friends by the end of the session.

And finally, "M" and "C", who just recently turned 4 years old! Happy Birthday you two!!

I will try to post more this month...I admit that I was really bad about posting last month, and I have so many great photos from recent sessions to share with you.

Happy October!!
