{ Motherhood }

Once again, the weather was cold & wet for the Mothers Portrait Event...last year was worse, so hopefully next year we will finally have the sun!

Everyone was excited to be there, and very photogenic, and I had a blast seeing all the moms having fun with their kids. I knew it would be a good day, as right before the first family came, I had a mother duck and her ducklings swim by for a photo :)

{ A Fun Family, & A Spring Day! }

The 'O' Family was such a fun family to work with! When I met them at the Capitol, they were a little unsure of what to expect...they had won this session at a silent auction, and had never had professional pictures of the family done before.

I explained that they would be running, laughing, etc...everything except sitting perfectly still and smiling at the camera. They were great! The connection between all of them was great, and it showed in each and every image. You've gotta love the disgusted look on the kids faces, when I told mom and dad to kiss!

{ Seniors - 2011! }

It's senior season!!

All you high school juniors ( I mean seniors, now that school is out), now is the time to schedule your senior session. I really like to try new ideas, locations, props, etc., so if you are fun and willing to let loose for your session, give me a call.

Mr. C was nice enough to let me try some cool new editing techniques on his pictures, the textures turned out great! I met him on State St. as we wanted an urban feel, and I had him bring his sax, so we could get some jazzy images. Here are some of my favorites from his session!
